Just a short three hour scenic drive from the San Jose airport or thirty minutes from the Quepos domestic airport, your adventure begins when you leave the paved road in the small Tico town of Dominicalito and drive your 4x4 (highly recommended) up the rugged mountain road climbing over 1,000 feet in elevation. You will splash through quebrata streams, pass by several local waterfalls that are just out of view, driving along the front ridge before dropping back down 200 feet in elevation through the area known as the Pearl. Be sure to keep your windows open to hear the sounds, catch the cool moist air of the rain forest and watch for white-faced and howler monkeys, sloth, coati, agouti, a multitude of birds, and blue morpho butterflies that are as big as your hands...

Located in the heart of the South Pacific coastal jungle of Costa Rica, Senderos de Selva is a luxury 10 acre modern resort like estate home that provides a unique vacation opportunity. We named our property Senderos de Selva, which translates to trails in the jungle, because of the many trails that can transport you to another world. Our estate is designed to provide guests with a very private Costa Rican tranaquillo/no worries experience, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. King sized bedrooms each with connected bathrooms provide guests with the utmost comfort, modern amenities and beautiful decor. Relax in our sunken living room with ocean view or an evening fire, get inspired by our epic man made 20 foot waterfall, lounge in one of our three gorgeous infinity edge pools, explore the miles of jungle trails nearby, enjoy delicious cuisine prepared in our gourmet kitchen, or engage in nearby activities. Whether you're looking for a secluded wilderness family vacation, business retreat or special event, we have the perfect combination of natural and luxury accommodations for you.
THE CASA
When you rent our main house, the whole house is yours and yours alone. The Casa has five king suites and is designed for ten adults. It has large and comfortable indoor and outdoor living areas; gourmet indoor and outdoor kitchens, butler pantry and dining areas; extraordinary infinity edge pool, thermal pool, and resort style decks with cabanas; well equipped gym; and laundry room. Need more room? Add the Casita and or Cabina, the only way to rent these jewels in the jungle is to rent the main Casa.
CASA VIEWS
THE CASITA
The Casita is a fully independent king suite designed for two adults who may want more privacy than the suites in the Casa provide but still be in relatively close proximity. It has its own kitchenette, laundry bodega, pool and observation deck. The Casita can also be converted into a private meeting room to facilitate an executive retreat or meeting.The Casita is only rented in conjunction with the Casa so you will always know everyone else staying at Senderos de Selva.

THE CABINA
The Cabina is also our honeymoon suite for couples looking for serious jungle seclusion. It is located about a quarter mile into the jungle on a well lit trail. The luxurious elevated king suite overlooking the ocean has its own kitchenette with a generous refrigerator and grill, and a large walk around observation deck. The canopy and ocean breezes allow the Cabina to take glamping to a new level as three sides are only separated from the jungle trees by sliding screens. Like the Casita, the Cabina is only rented in conjunction with the Casa.
